There are many good cappers the last couple years, and sometimes their success varied over the course of the season. I suggest you start out slow, see who's doing well, and watch for when there's consensus on games.
Happy 79th and GL

Louis_IV is a very good baseball capper, he finised + 100 units last baseball season, Manassass mauler is very good also but his betting amounts vary so much he is hard to tail. Good luck this yr

Almost forgot to mention, follow the RPI system starting in May. Its been very good for the last 2yrs. There'll be a blog on it once the season starts.

You got me by 9 years and I hope we both are still around and joking about it in another 9. You are going to hear a lot of recommendations and I encourage you to make a list of four or five that seem to have the most support and best reputations, especially for honesty and accurate records. Stay away from cappers that brag about their winning percentage only, as they are only trying to post 60 or 65% to look good, which is just swell in football or basketball, but meaningless in baseball. In MLB the only things that make a winner are net units and Return On Risk, ROI being the more important of the two, since it cannot be finagled or enhanced with huge "unit" plays. Be cautious, move slowly; even if you miss the first 10% of the season it is comparable to one full NFL season, but you still have 9 more NFL seasons to go just in 2013.

One other thing. Never look for consensus unless you are looking for a consensus among four or five winning handicappers. The posting forum consensus is as worthless as any other general consensus among a large group of people that really don't know what the heck they are talking about. The posting forum is chock full of truly pathetic public players that don't even realize that when they all agree on a pick it is no different than the blind leading the blind. All the good handicappers are independent thinkers and/or computer gurus that don't give a darn what the general consensus is, and would, in fact, rather the public consensus was against them, as that would improve the odds on the wager they have chosen.

I don't mind at all. There are some rather strict rules of play I utilize and if you will accept my friend request I will familiarize you as soon as possible. It is always your money and your choice of course but I find this works well for me and I would rather we were on the same page going in.
