Had a nice 4-0 day Wednesday. Let's hit the books again. So far only one play jumps out at me, and I say this as a Red Sox fan:
TOR -1.5 (+170) Talk about 2 pitchers going in opposite directions. Over the last 2 weeks of baseball the Jays lead the league in home runs. Over Crawford's last 7 starts he's given up 14 dingers while the Sox have gone 2-5, losing by 2+ runs in every loss. That's a recipe for a long day for us Sox fans. Francis on the other hand has been getting better and better with a K/BB ratio of 34/4 over his last 4 starts. If my team is going to lose, I might as well make money off it.
I may add one more tomorrow after I have a closer look at matchups.
Good luck all

Granted, 20 of his strikeouts were against the Angels. But the Red Sox strike out a ton too. Even if the Sox put up 3 or 4 they'll still lose by 4. I think.

Excellent discussion, I agree that Francis will be a little off due to his near nono letdown, but I like Toronto record at fenway and they'll be motivated to take series 3-2, even though the record books place that suspended first game at its original date.
And so I'm also willing to bank on Crawford giving up some points since Toronto somehow got nothing off Bello. That still puzzles me, Bello is generally better on the road.

There are a couple other games that are interesting, but I think instead of putting 1 unit on 4 games I'll put 4 units on one game and see how it goes. Here are the current lines I'm taking:
TOR ML (+120) 2 units
TOR -1.5 (+185) 2 units
Good luck everyone
