Had to fact check that....and it's true so far up to this point. Also interestingly enough, there's a website blog I read that explains the Math behind it as well. Two teams that look absolutely dead right now are the Braves and the Brewers. Braves were decimated by the doubleheader with the Mets (although it doesn't explain why the Mets won game 1 against the Brewers). But that comment brings me to my next point: One truism I always like to follow is, always bet against Milwaukee in the MLB playoffs....I couldn't even tell you who their ace is, or who the starting pitchers are?

There's no article per se , there were 8 best of 3 series the last 2 years and 7/8 sweeps =87.5% (88 rounded up)

Again I disregarded the covid season which was 6/8 sweeps.

All my bets are green so far. Honestly, the more I watch the Tigers and Mets, the more I feel like one of them could potentially reach the World Series. The Mets' pitching has really turned around, and it's high level, and their offense is great. The Tigers have a great manager, and they are scrappy. They remind me of the Moneyball A's.

Now I see why he got boxed!
