Perez,  3-5, 4.60 ERA vs

Bradley,  6-8, 3.55 ERA

Two pitchers trending in different directions. Perez has been solid since coming over from Pittsburgh, his last 6 games, 33.2 IP he's surrendered only 8 ERs.

Bradley after a great start, in his last 26 IP, 5 games has given up 23 ERs. With Fairbanks out hurt, Jason Adam now on SD, a once solid backend is completely gone.

I've never liked the Rays off a road trip, 4-5 this season 1st home game back. With a better hitting Padres team, .270 vs righties, and the Rays averaging only 3.8 rpg, I'll gladly back the Padres at plus money.

Yes indeed resident rays expert in the house, I like that seal of approval  for the Padres, the better pitcher Bradley in the worser of circumstances

 I have noticed this on a lot of game

Haven't tracked it though

but seems like a lot of game 1's go to the away dogs

more so when the home team is off a road trip

but a lot any game 1

The enigma of Taj Bradley, he was so good his first few starts blowing hitters away. Now he couldn't get an average college player out, crazy.

I don't think it's crazy at all the money these guys are making nowadays, how can they not get distracted and think about how to spend it?

Back in the day, guys played to earn every penny they could get and even worked side jobs during the off-season to make ends meet.
