Gonna throw my opinion out here on todays game and track my MLB playoffs this year.
What a cool situation for a Monday.
The 2 games really have so many angles and consequences, that it’s basically playoff baseball.
Atl was already home. Rested pen.
Mutts late flight, big expectations on a starter.
Atl no brainer?
Well, look at what the Rangers had to do to end the season last year and into the playoffs.
Crazy travel log. Sherzer not available. Average pitching at best.
The lose the division any bye on the last day!
Then go on to win the WS.
Not saying Mets win the WS this year.
But like the real playoffs, crazy stuff happens in MLB all the time.
I like the +130 on Mets and 1st 5 +128 as well (ya know, in case their “not rested bullpen” blows a lead).
I got a unit on each.
I like the Mets coming off a win and will take the plus odds. More importantly, my guy is screaming take the Mets and that Atl is too easy of a pick. Something smells.
No need to ‘what if’ game 2 to death until game one closes.

I'm liking Mets in game 1 also, a lot of pressure to have to win game 2.Braves have Sale slated to game 2,, but I'm sure they don't really want to have to pitch him today and save him for wild card Rd. so they will be as motivated to win game 1. Interesting day of of baseball ahead. GL to all
