    Hi MLB bettors,

Rockies are coming off an up and down homestand...lots of offense, and lots of runs given up. Usually that doesn't translate for the team away from home however, but the Jays have been an up and down team all season.

    What is the play today?

I know Josh Johnson has had success against the Rox in the past, but this season he does not seem to be his old self. Toronto has been hot lately, winning 8 of their last 10--their bats have been solid, but their pitching staff has been the main catalyst for the surge.

I think there is value on Rockies ML today, but I'd say the safest play is:

    Under 9

    Thoughts?

I would lean under but Jays -150 is a solid pay. JJ 4-1 Lifetime vs Rocks

I think -150 is just a lot to pay for a Jays team I'm still not COMPLETELY sold on. Despite their recent hot stretch they've ultimately been pretty disappointing this season and highly volatile.

Rockies hitting DEF suffers on the road, thinking this should be a 4-1 type score either way.

    BOL regardless of play

I think Toronto is in the midst of a season defining stretch... They have won 8 of 10, and I wouldn't be shocked if that turns into 18 of 22 or something like that...

Would NOT bet against Toronto, or their hot bats.

Jays will make a run for .500 before all star break. They are finally playing to their potential. Surprisingly without Reyes and Morrow. If Wang can get back to 19 win form. Watch out MLB.

    Jays win again...
    9-2 L 11
    6-0 L 6
6-0 L 6 vs the Run Line also.

Jays hot bats keep at it as the jays cover the run line for the 6th time in a row...

I have been promoting them guys, I watch alot of baseball but being from Toronto I see the games constant.  I didn't bet them early in the season as I needed to see them catch traction...they haven't until lately.  This isn't just about the streak, it has been close, obvious improvements for over a month now.

Find your spots with this team and cash in until they lose form (if they lose form).

Just put 25 dollars on Toronto to win the AL pennant. @50/1

Really hope they continue this hot streak...

    Thats a pretty good bet.
The Jays pitching is what has turned around and it was brutal basically for the first 2 months. But now Buerhle is back to being a rock, Dickey has gotten slightly better, Johnson has returned strong from injury and it looks like they could have found 2 decent under the radar guys in Rogers and Wang. Morrow is set to be back in a week or so which is good.

Jose Reyes is rumoured to possibly be back for fridays game and that should be a big boost and form a pretty nasty top 5 in Reyes-Bautista-EE-Lind-Cabrera.

This is honestly a really good team that just started insanely slow and then ran into some costly injuries. If this team can finish a few games above .500 by the end of June then watch out.

Damn that's a bloody good idea, I hadn't even thought of that.  I would be more inclined to bet the wildcard though.

    What book gives you 50-1?

We will know on July 1st if Toronto will be In the mix or not after 3 with Baltimore, 3 with Tampa bay and 4 with Boston...

Monumental 10 game stretch after the Colorado series... Would love to see 7-3 or better

To be honest, the Jays didn't show me a ton yesterday...

De La Rosa had effectively shut that lineup completely down in his 7 innings (too much AL baseball, everyone trying to hit HR's everytime...). Luckily for the Jays, Josh Johnson OWNS the Rockies and pitched a helluva ballgame himself.

Today should be interesting, Esmil Rodgers is an ex-Rockie--was used mostly as a long-relief/spot starter guy, but he has good stuff. And Rockies are running out Francis who seems to be on his last MLB legs right now.

Francis isn't gonna shut anyone out, and he's not gonna pitch more than probably 6 innings or so.

    not going to overthink this:

    over 9

That's 10 in a row now for TOR, and 13/15
