1. Nationals ML(-205) *1.5/.73 units

I don't think there's anyone who can beat Strasburg and this pen. Nats can knock around LHP.


2. Giants RL(-120) *1/.80 units

Feels like the Giants come out of break w/ a sense of purpose. The Padres just dumped Pomeranz, feels like they come out of break like an average Joe going back to work on a Monday after a vacation.

3. Phillies ML(+116) *1/1.16 units

Prior to giving up 6 runs in 4.1 innings of work to the Nats, Colon was on an 8 game stretch fo giving up 2 or less runs per start. The old man was pitching over his head and I don't see a bounce back. Let's bet on him to slip again. Philly bats have been hot, Mets have been cold.

Mad Bum, Posey and Belt didn't have to Travel Post AS Game... Cueto too....Even though he'll get a couple more days of Rest.

SERIES BET:

BRAVES-105 *1/.95 units

I like the pitching matchups.

     When looking at all the splits and #'s, I would make the Braves -110 to -115 so not much of a discrepancy, a rather sharp price. Bettors have hit the Rockies since their opponent is "the Braves"

I'm sure not much capping went into that. The Rockies are rather pedestrian w/ their bats away from Coors field. Both Pens are bad so I think this series will be won in innings 4 through 7, which starters can go deeper?

The guy has a 12.7 K/9 rate in his last 4 games. Struck out 7 Tigers earlier this year against 24 AB's. He strikes out a batter for every 3.32 AB's vs RHB's. He averages 6.5 K's per game this year...

And the books drop the prop at 5? One of my books got murdered and it's at 5.5(-120) on the OVER, the other sits at 5(-150) OVER

Sharps? Maybe. I think this is one the books didn't foul up. In his last 3 starts he got 11, 8, and 10 K's. What goes up must come down. Kennedy is much worse at Night, and Away.

Home= K per every 3.04 batters  Away= K per every 4.10 batters

Day= K per every 2.78 batters  Night=K per every 4.01 batters

As if he needs help here...homeplate ump has the highest k rate in the league, 19.38 per game

Padres have the 3rd highest K% at 24.3%
Over the last 14 days they are at the top w/ 26.5%

26th in Contact% at 76.11%
They SO once for every 3.72 batters vs LHP
They have the 2nd most SO's in night games

Bumgarner is going for the Cy Young, he's in the zone right now.
