These two are now combined 9-4 on the over for the year, and while it will be chilly in Detroit, the wind is gusty and its blowing out to center all day long. White Sox went to the pen early yesterday, which means we are gonna see a lot of Martin or a lot of a bad bullpen. Tigers may get to the over all on their own.
Houston Astros +110
The Cardinals tattooed Ober in his first start, and I'm fading him again. The Astros aren't hitting right now, but at least they have capable bats in their lineup. I can't say the same for the Twinks. Arrighetti was outstanding in his first showing, allowing one run on one hit and walking two, vs the Mets. No reason to think he can't do similar work vs a much weaker line up.
Be back in a couple hours with late afternoon plays. Good luck everyone.

2-4 yesterday.

As long as the Yanks bats stay this hot, I'm going to make money off it. The last time they saw a lefty start a game vs them, it was Nestor Cortes and we all know how that went. The limited offense the Buccos do possess, isn't producing much of anything at the moment, and I'm hoping they don't start producing today!
Baltimore Orioles -102
Rutch gets the day off, so one bat is missing from the Os everyday line up, but Gunnar is back so that helps. We will see how long it takes him to get acclimated. Sugano pitched very well in his first big league start, but had a short leash, getting pulled after only 73 pitches and 4 IP, but only have up 2 ER on 4 H and 2BB. So all in all, a great start. Wacha had some control issues vs CLE, and when he did find the zone, he found lots of bats. Better offense, and better pitcher today.
A couple more tonight as long as no funny business in the line up cards.

DeGrom looked like DeGrom in his opener, and that is great news for Rangers fans. Hopefully he can put a full season together. There aren't a lot of MLB at bats in the Rays line up and they are still trying guys at new spots. You can afford to do that against the Colorados and Pittsburghs of the world, but when real talent shows up, it's a different story.
Reds/Brewers Under 8 -105
The Reds offense is putrid at the moment. They've scored a combined 2 runs in their last 4 games! Lucky for them, Singer looks to be continuing to evolve as a pitcher, and was outstanding in his first start. He's got crazy good stuff, but he hasn't mastered the mental part of pitching yet. If he does, watch out. This will only be Rodriguez' second career start, but with how good the Crews pen is, it doesn't scare me so bad.
Athletics/Rockies Under 9.5 -120
Going back to this well again, although there won't be snow, it's still not close to baseball weather. Wind will blow in, albeit not strong enough to effect much. In my opinion we are getting both teams best pitchers tonight too. When Marquez is on, he gets a LOT of swing and misses. And Sears is one of those tricky lefties. Similar game to yesterday I'd imagine, but we can live without the extra innings shenanigans.
Mariners/Giants Over 7.5 -110
All the Seattle offense needed to get going, was to get out of their home ballpark! Another beautiful San Francisco evening should provide the perfect atmosphere for more fireworks tonight, after these two put 19 up yesterday.
Good luck tonight everyone

I think it's totally possible the over gets there, but it will have to be a lot of heavy lifting from the Rangers offense. I think DeGrom feasts on this weak TB line up.
