Yesterday they had their ass-clown on the mound--Mr Dumbo ears, and Mr Caracas Venezuela took over the game. Today. Mr Davis is all about locking down. Danks is living off of past history.

Cards throw out a gas can and relinquish this game before it starts. Friday the game was over when the pitcher for the Cubs (We all forgot his name but that now is unimportant). This happens in about 25% of the games when the starting pitcher gives up enough runs that his team cannot possibly catch up. The manager meanwhile doesn't have a clue about his own pitchers and how they are throwing batting practice, and doesn't even walk to the mound to ask him how things are going. No worries today. LaRussa has all the gas can relieving to decide. Blowout win--since Cubs are not the only game in town at that hour, they will play well.
