Wandy
Rodriguez is having a rough season because it seems like he is always
pitching on the road. His last start at Yankee Stadium, Wandy got
knocked around in 5 innings of work and then the start before that one
he pitched okay in Colorado going 7 runs but getting a loss because of
lack of run support. I think that home cooking will help tonight in
Houston and Wandy will go out and pitch like he knows how at home. Last
year Wandy was a great home pitcher and I think he finds his groove
tonight in Houston. The opposing pitcher for Wandy tonight is Rangers
righty Scott Feldman who has also been very hittable this year coming in
with a 5.28 ERA on the season. I think the Astros bats will come for
Wandy today and they take one at home tonight.

Call me a sucker for this kid Strasburg but I think he
should be somewhere in the -200 every start out there! This kid has some
serious stuff on the hill and everytime he is going out there he is
going against people who haven't seen it yet, it's almost unfair. The
kid is 2-0 with a 2.19 ERA since joining the big leagues and it seems to
me the Nationals bat appreciate this guy because they always come up to
play when he is on the hill, scoring 5 in his first start and 9 in his
second to make sure this kid gets the win. Opposing Strasburg is very
hittable righty in Gavin Floyd. Floyd is 2-7 with a 5.64 ERA and this
Nationals team can hit the baseball, especially at home and with
Strasburg toeing it. I look for Zimmerman, Dunn and Willingham to have
big nights tonight at home, where the Nationals are 6-2 in thier last 8
games and take the win behind the great pitching of the KID.

REVENGE, REVENGE, REVENGE. Dontrelle Willis
is facing the team that traded him away for a bag of balls a couple
weeks ago and I look for him to come out tonight and pitch an absolute
GEM in his old ballpark. Willis is 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA since joining
the DBacks who are very happy to get him for literally a bag of balls a
couple of weeks ago. I think that this is giong to be a very low
scoring game with Galarraga opposing Willis and has been pitching real
well since flirting with the perfect game. In the end I think Upton and
Reynolds have something to do with a power surge to get the Dbacks a
win on the road tonight in Detriot.

Lee is a great pitcher, but he is also pretty hittable as well. Lee
will be GREAT when he finds a team with some offense to help him out.
Lee is just 4-3 with a 2.88 ERA on the season which is a damn shame
because 2.88 is great but he has no run support so that 4-3 is where I
am looking at with this pick. Let's get one thing strait, the Reds can
hit the baseball and I think they will tonight in Seattle. If the Reds
can get 4 or 5 runs tonight then they win this game easily simply
because I dont think the Mariners can get that high in runs for Lee!
Cueto is not a terrible pitcher and I think will keep them in the game.
Another thing to look at is Cueto is 6-1 with a 4.50 ERA which tells me
that the Reds can score runs for this guy and he will win ballgames.
The M's are 2-7 in their last 9 games overall and 2-6 in their last 8
interleague games. I will take the dog tonight in Seattle.
BOL EVERYONE....is football here yet??
