sf/atlanta,betting formula

Question

I was taught this on covers and am going to do it today. San fran is -1/1\2 +150 atlanta +150 to win. I will put 100 on each bet and only way to lose is if san fran wins by only 1 run. I did this during summer and started with 200 and built payrol up to over 1500. I was lucky but was willing to go to 0 and wait for football. By doing this, I dont have to analayze anything. I usually dont see where you can win 50 by doing either bet. Covers taught me this so here I go again

On the fritz, I am willing to lose the money and I totally understand why most wont do this. If you look, not many 1 run games. High risk, medium reward and no thinking. It did work for me during season but playoffs are different. This is the only year I did this and only year I won money on baseball. The problem with it is you can lose very,very quickly. I always say I will only once more and never keep my word.

Badger,,yes some games when the lines are right it can work out good,as long as its not a one run game. Every so often you get a good line on a game to make these plays.

There was a line in college football this year where E.Mich was +27 vs Ohio State in the 1st H,,and the total was Over 29 1/2 ,,only loss could have been Ohio St 28-0 or 29-0,,I bet on both and won both. I did take your play tonight and took Sf -1 1/2 and then bet Atl -Sf (ml)

Sims- The odds are actually higher because at -200, i would win 100. I only win 50 if sf doesnt win by 1. There are only a few games a nite you can do this on, maybe none in playoffs.I like the no thinking part of the bet. Its nerve wacking when its 2-2 going into 9th. I love it when its 6-0 after 2 innings. As i said, its a way of not thinking and did me well this summer. The more you think in gambling, the worse it gets. I hate baseball and thats why I do this. If it werent for gambling, I wouldnt even watch bb except to see cubs lose.

If you are not worried about a 1-run game then why not bet -1.5 each way?

and as you can see it didnt work out last night.  I was a little leary, with Lincecum pitching,but I thought I would try it once real small.  bet 10.00 each way  if sf won by more than a run 10.00 pd 23.50.  If the braves won  10.00 pd 24.00. And what happens ,,Lincecum throws a gem ,the Giants win 1-0,,and I lose both bets,,out 20.00,,good thing I didnt try 100.00 on each bet .
