4-0 yesterday.
Love this spot for the rangers at plus $.
Kazmir (2-4) 3.14 ERA
His last win was may 1st @ Texas where he had 6 innings pitched, 1 walk, 6 K's.
He is now 2-0 vs texas(they have seen him twice)
Since then the A's are 0-6 in Kaz pitched games.
In those 6 games he had only 13 runs of support. I think this continues w/ the rook on the mound for texas, continuing an all ready bad psyche for Kaz in that regard.
Chi Chi Rodriguez (2-0) 0.00 ERA
14.2 innings, 5 hits, 4 K's, 7 walks(5 of those walks were in his debut vs Boston, jitters non the less)
His last outting he pitched 9 scoreless innings.
Oak has not seen his stuff.
Texas 20-13 away (19-12 vs AL)
As dogs 28-25 (27-24 vs AL)
Vs LHP (9-11)
Oak 10-18 @ home
As fav 18-23
Vs RHP 21-26
Texas offensive runs pg 4.56
Oak offensive runs pg 4.16
Texas is bottom 4th of the league in strikeouts thrown pg at 6.63(I think that changes a bit today and the rook can get some K's in the books)
W/ 93% humidity in the air, and considering these teams just played the late night game and go into an early day game, I lean the under.
Let's hope the rookie continues his good pitching for 5 more innings and the rangers can manufacture a run or 2 against a lefty.
