The Rays couldn’t stay any closer than 3 runs during this current 4-game losing streak. Largely forgotten by the public is the 4-game winning streak that preceded this losing streak. The Rays narrowly beat the Red Sox twice and the Blue Jays twice.

Seth Lugo is the Royals best pitcher. His numbers this season are sick. On the road they’re even sicker. The Rays are countering tonight with……a bullpen game. So how big a favorite did the oddsmakers make the red-hot 32-19 Royals over the stumbling Rays who’ve just dipped below .500?

Sadly Armstrong was absolutely killing it. 2 shutout innings with 3 ks. In comes Alexander and his 5.21 ERA and about to get blown up. That is the shitty think about a bullpen game. Guess we will see how this ends.
