If it it ends 2-0 ... very slim margin

Should I feel bad for not betting this or find some relief that it wasn't really a great bet

That's right stop trying to find moral victories when you lose or feel guilty if you win.  The books nor the ticket cashiers don't care neither should you

Now I think about it, it brings up an interesting question,  does betting runline and moneyline sometimes feel like betting against yourself?  If you have moneyline then great 2-1 is cool, but if it ends 2-0 then of course you wish you saved a 100 juice taking the -1.5. I mean we all want maximum payback.   It sometimes feel disgusting like of you hit royal flush on video poker with 1 credit you only get 250 credit but with 5 credit is 4000 credits

Instead I lost alot on Phi and they won the game by one run
