Manny can mash and is a wizard at third base. He&#x2019;s probably the worst base runner I&#x2019;ve ever seen, and has a history of chippy/cheap play. He&#x2019;s a knucklehead. Not the type of dude I would give $300 million. Would be surprised if he doesn&#x2019;t have a typical &#x201C;just got paid&#x201D; season this year. Savvy fantasy players will keep this in mind during their drafts.

&#xA;That would be perfect. Here&#x27;s a guy that wants to be a Yankee so bad, but if Yanks offer $25 mil a year and Mets offer $27 mil a year, will take the $27 mil, just because it&#x27;s more. Why? I have no idea. What can you buy with $27 mil that you can&#x27;t making $25 mil? I mean, it&#x27;s Monopoly money, and plenty of it.&#xA;BTW, I know he won&#x27;t sign for those numbers, they were just an example. Merry Xmas to everyone, except Manny.....

Based off his 2018 playoff showing in LA, Machado is a heel, not a face.  IDK what exactly is being constructed on the Southside, but that would be a lot of coin to give to a guy that in 3 years most likely is an absolute albatross around all that purported young talent coming through the pipeline.
