Mattz has been cruising retiring 14 in a row with only 85 pitch, they take the lead in the 7th and he pulls mattz. Lugo comes in and braves blow it wide open.Smdh why would u pull mattz so early

One of the worst managerial decisions I&#x2019;ve seen this year in all of baseball. Matz even hit for himself in the top of the 7th so it made even less sense. Tough to watch as a Mets fan

Mattz gave up 2 hits thru 6, hit 2 singles himself, retired 14 in a row going into the 7th and scored to take the lead 2-1 at 79 pitches he gets pulled bottom 7th Lugo comes in gives up 5 runs...like 6 or 7 singles in a row.

The mets manager should be fired. Got to be one of the dumbest moves I've seen. "Hey you're doing awesome! Go sit on the bench!"

At the very least he should have waited and watched till matz started to struggle and if he doesnt and keeps striking guys out keep him in there damnit!!

WTF ??&#xA;NOT ONLY Pitch count was at 79 - But they had the F--ing nerve to mention that Matz "ran the bases?" ?????  Like WTF, RAN THE BASES?!?!?!   Big F---ing Deal - an Athlete RAN THE BASES!?!?!?   I cannot believe how pathetic (Kind of like our Country) Baseball has become with Pitch Counts and "Ran The BASES" ??? [/Quote]I believe what my friend Capodecina is referring to is the general decline in common sense over the last 50 years in general and the last 20 years in particular here in our formerly great country...It has become all too clear that the poor decisions made by our leadership in the past have resulted in a culture of decay and mental illness unprecedented in our history...sadly, public policy and societal standards are now being dictated by these mentally ill individuals and literally forced upon the fewer and fewer normal individuals under the guises of "diversity" and "tolerance"...Capodecina is saying that this decline is being reflected in our once great national pastime and I must agree...However, if you were born less than ..oh...maybe 35 or 40 years ago, you are probably unable to detect this as it&#x27;s all you have ever known and the teaching of accurate history is no longer available in any public school due to the aforementioned "infection"...Sad for you...sad for Capodecina...sad for me......And very sad for this once great country of America...

I agree with everything. Trump is doing great though to be honest. Not sure what he has done wrong ??? As for the Mets I&#x2019;m a Mets fan and I have to stand by capo in Mets taking a plummet from here on out ... I hope I&#x2019;m wrong but I have seen this garbage to many times with the Mets ...
