Since MLB is changing things again, they really need to go away with divisions. Teams within the NL East and the AL Central shouldn’t be awarded for playing in such a horse shit division. There is no way a division series should have 107 win Giants team going up against a 106 win Dodger team. Same can be said about the Rays who won 100 games going up against more than likely the Yankees. Could very well go with 8 playoff teams with 2 best teams record wise having a bye so teams who are seeded 3 through 6 would play 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5 with the lower seed playing number 1 seed and then having the other team play the number 2 seed.

Could still have the American League and the National League. Shorten the season to 150 games instead of 162 and have everyone play each other 10 times. Get rid of the interleague games and then have them play one another in the World Series like normal.
