We'll never see so many people on Norris ever again in his career. Lots of nice angles going for Rox backers tonight.
Took Detroit +126 earlier. Down 2-0 yikes. I have zero confidence in Beckett and thought this was a short line. Thought the line should've been higher if Boston had an edge.

Probably going to take ML, haven't decided yet. Missed out on 4.5 and doubt we see that number again. There's nothing worse than taking a team that needs to win. People think they have to win so they will, this kind of thinking leads to losses. If they were good they wouldn't be in this position to begin with. You see this a lot late in the NFL and MLB when people take teams for that sole purpose.
I've been quietly taking SA for quite some time quite often. No team has gone under the radar like these guys have during the regular season. OKC doesn't scare me at all, especially at home. Everything is a jump shot, some nights they don't fall and OKC is dead.
Spurs can take it up a notch on defense whereas OKC can't. They may lose by 20 tonight but SA is just so damn deep and well coached that they'll win this series at the most 6 games. It probably goes 5. Not surprised to see so many in the forums on OKC, just what I was hoping for.

We share the same sentiments in denver and in the nba game tonight, except I think the debate is whether or not the wcf goes 4 or 5, not 5 or 6. Good luck

I'd rather take ML than 4 or 5 in the NBA. Most of the time you have to win the game outright to get the cover. CBB is so much different where 3 or 4 points is a lot. I don't blame anyone for taking the points, it's just a philosophy of mine.

It's a loser mentality to play the points and have nothing on the ml, the book welcomes that bet wholeheartedly regardless of situation. The odds of spurs covering without winning tonight are what, say 20%? So I can gain 80 cents by giving up the purely fearful hope of losing by a possession? Sign me up, at the very least for half the money I would ever have on such a game.
Dan-if the spurs win tonight the game 4 line will be somewhere from okc-2 to pk. It's not even nearly outrageous as you think, what I find interesting is that people still don't understand what they're watching. Everybody else is playing minor league basketball compared to the spurs right now.

A bookie who took bets many years ago told me he hated guys who took ML's at +200 or more. The biggest reason people lose is no control and greed. The one's that aren't greedy get juiced out in the end anyway. You have to find a way to combat the juice unless you bet once a week or once a month and really know how to pick your spots.

Been wondering the same thing. Since Diaw and Jackson completed this roster they are 30-2 SU and one loss was a b2b in Utah without Duncan, Manu, and Parker, also a game their backups led through 3 quarters in what was a big game for Utah. Team is basically on a 30-1 SU run and have 5 ATS in 31 games yet just yesterday they were still + money to win the title at 6 wins from it. Pounded +115 just a couple days ago.
OKC very well may win by 20 tonight if the shots are falling but seeing them win 4 of 5 against SA is highly unlikely. Miami is a two man team who don't have much of a chance in this series unless the Big 2 go off for 70 a night.
Could you imagine if the Heat, Thunder, or Lakers were on a run like this? No way you'd be able to catch + money 6 wins from the title and they'd be labelled as one of the best teams ever by the ESPN goofs.
Nice to see some familiar names in the forum.

Just threw a little more on Rox -1.5. The best games to bet are days like this when there are very few games on the board. Nothing is gauranteed and I can lose every bet but these are the best days to fade the masses.

Nice to see you Andarmac, it was so funny I was just taking the Spurs every night. Didn't care what the number was, who they were playing etc, they were the golden goose for about a 2 month stretch there and nobody talked about them. Their lines didn't even fluctuate like they shoud've which showed me how under the radar they were to the masses.
