Note: Played Toms over Aiken today in US Open FYI and Went 2-1 yesterday for those inquiring minds!
2 Day Games for me a one thought:
Texas: I have been touting the Rangers for weeks and weeks, and they now have the best record in baseball. Nobody likes their staff, 2nd in Q Starts, 11th in ERA and a bit of an average bullpen (in my opinion) but they WILL add a reliever at the deadline and maybe even a smaller priced starter. Colby Lewis goes today and he has simply been SOLID, not great, but really solid. And with this lineup, you don't have to be great. Getting YU back and healthy is probably their key to long tern success, but for now, they ARE the best team in the AL NOT the Red Sox. Note I also warned everyone about the Red Sox and they are almost fade worthy for every started except S Wright and I am not sure how long that will last...
Texas...going against the Oakland 2nd time starter Mengden...we just have a better team with a better pitcher etc. I can give you all the stats you want in this one ...6-2 with a 2.87 in 11 starts etc. Rangers for me!!!
Also really favor the Under here on getaway day game in Oakland. Yes, I know they went over in 3 straight...
Tampa : This kid Snell is the real deal folks. When you move Andreise to the bullpen who leads the team in ERA and Wins, you better be good. Not really sure about Paxton yet, but I think the Ms ar in a bad spot today. Snell struck out 13 in his last AAA start and I think he handles the Ms today.
This could favor the Under as well as both teams scraping a little .
But just two plays for me!! Texas and Tampa!!!
