Atlanta Braves -120
Well, this could be the biggest mistake I've seen in a long time. James Shields is coming in with an 0-3 record and a 11.49 ERA in his last 3 starts and just getting absolutely RACKED!! The Braves are a team that can rack Shields from the get go and get into this Rays bullpen very early. Hudson is a very strong starter for the Braves and is 6-2 with a 2.43 ERA on the season! The Braves should be -200 IMO in this game tonight. The Braves are also 20-7 in their last 27 home games and this is going to get better tonight for the Braves at home!!
4* Colorado Rockies -112
Anytime I can get the upcoming Cy Young pitcher at just -112 I will bite. There is no doubt that Liriano is a legit pitcher and the Twins are a good baseball team but again I do not think that matches up to Jimenez who is just lights out this year. Jimenez is 12-1 with a 1.16 ERA. It is also very hard to sweep the same team 3 games in a row in baseball, especially going against their ace and such a good one with Jimenez. I think that this is an absolute pitchers duel and usually that comes up with Jimenez being on top in the end. The Rockies are also 16-6 in their last 22 interleauge games which makes this an even bigger lean.
4* Cincinnanti Reds +110
John Ely is 0-1 with a 4.24 ERA in his last 3 starts which tells me that either teams are figuring him out or that he is getting fatigued and losing some stuff that he had early in the season. Either way I think this is trouble for him going against the Reds this afternoon. Arroyo has pitched strong in his last 2 starts going 7 and 8 innings strong with the Reds going 1-1 in those last 2 starts but had a chance to win both. I think that the Reds offense busts out of its funk this afternoon and jump on Ely early to give Arroyo some slack to attack batters and shut down this Dodgers offense who has been red hot in the first 2 games of this series.
