Why, well there are many reason I can like of but the real reason is Verlander he is 4-0 in his last four starts with an era of .96 and coming into a game where you might be saying the Tigers backed into the Division and so on and so forth but really so did the A's they beat the Rangers down the stretch just like Tigers did to the White Sox.

A's are free swinging team and a pitcher like Verlander knows this and will not pitch to their strengths. It's big juice for a big reason.

The A's are a great story and so is Old Yeller and oh yeah he didn't make it to the end of the book either.

Lotj1 I think the most over used word in sports betting is value there is no vaule in losing 100.00 if you play that per game because you took value at +180, you might be right the A's might win, hell I might go tonight and buy the powerball winning ticket it's highly unlikly and probley wont happen but just like in Dumb and Dumber a one in a million chance is still a chance.

You are talking about a guys that lost his 6 starts not a guy that is 5-1 in his last six games with an era of 1.93 that is all Sept starts money time Parker is 3-2 2.31 in sept and 1-0 in Oct with a 4.50 era

I am not saying the A's will roll over and play dead, I am saying the better team with the better pitcher will win at home like they should
