HIs last outing he lost to the orioles and gave up 5 runs in 5 innings. Does that qualify? I dont think the bet attacks him, but more compliments the bats in this game. Detriot has scored 5,9,14,10,5,4,5,6 in there last 8 games and the Yankees just beat up on Price. Are u telling me under 7 looks good?
... But the first game of playoffs is like a heavy weight match and could be feeling eachother out...which would be a complete let down..Total set at 7 -120OVER.. will have to consider this one or detroit +1.5-135.. Any thoughts discussion is greatly appreciated there is some sharps in here..

I think people are very quick to jump on Verlander at plus money, but let's not forget that it's not often you can get CC and the Yanks at home at this cheap of a price.
For all the talk about how good a pitcher Verlander is (and rightfully so), Sabathia's advanced metrics are better. He has the better FIP, xFIP, and WAR. CC's BABIP is .318 to Verlander's .236, which tells me Verlander has been extremely lucky this year while CC has not. One could argue from a statistical standpoint that CC has been better this season.
I actually lined this game around the -140 range for the Yanks. I would not be shocked at all if that is where it closes tomorrow.
