Some guys like my
pitcher ratings, some don’t. Personal choice whether you agree or not, but I
rank Happ the fifth best starter in the American League right now, and the
second best lefty, behind only Sale, and there is no shame in that. Tomlin has
his moments but is only the fiftieth best A.L. starter, at least in my ratings
and opinion. The Tribe put on a good show versus Price, but most of us are
familiar with his post season failures. Down the stretch in the A.L. race they
gave only four quality performances their last fifteen versus lefty starters
and dropped their oera to 2.10. I think Happ gives a much better accounting of
himself than Price and the BJ’s offense bounces back versus Tomlin.

Can't go against a team that's has allowed 4 runs in 3 home playoff games I'm passing on the game
Expect the unexpected is the rule in baseball. It is not "the team" that has allowed 3 runs, it has been the pitching and Boston's failures at the plate. Kluber/Miller/Allen are to be commended, but I don't think Tomlin benefits from another offensive failure as he did versus Boston. jmho.

I'm with you on the Jays RL. I didn't bet last night as I knew Cleveland realized it was a must win with their ace on the mound. Their pitching matchups against the Jays drop off from here on out.
If Jays had anyone but Martin swinging a bat, the game might have gone the Jays way early.
I can see the Jays winning this one 6-2, but I would take another 2-0 final, for the Jays this time
BOL all Let's get this.

They are in a bad mode my friend. NEVER swing at the first pitch. Pitchers pick up on that and everyone gets to start 0-1 and give the chucker his options after that. "Grind him down" doesn't work if the pitcher won't tolerate it.
