The local casino I'm visiting is limiting how much I can bet on certain parlays that seem likely to win. For example, I wanted to bet $500 on a parlay of NYY TT over 4.5 and NYM at ML, but I could only bet $30 because of a maximum limit.
That bet won, proving it was a good choice. However, for other less favorable bets, like 5-6 leg parlays, I can bet $500 without issue. The error message mentioned a maximum stake allowed.
Today, I tried to parlay DET TT over 4.5 and CHC TT over 3.5, but I received the same error. Are they using an algorithm to limit high bets on parlays that are likely to win? I tried to bet $500 on this today but could only bet $30. They didn't mind me betting $100 on NYM at ML again, but they seem to limit the two-leg parlays that are good for me.

The more teams in a parlay the more likely it loses. Just go offshore or one of the legal apps. Should likely be no issue. Nice to have different places to spread your money around if you happen to get limited.

A casino is in business to make money. They will do things and construct their business model to make them money, period
That is one bazillion percent correct, it would behoove you to spread your actuon as wide as possible, just take each of these greedy corporations a piece at a time

A lot of places TT's, 1st innings, alt lines, etc., and bets like that are considered more like exotics since they don't get the handle of regular sides or totals so they limit how much you can get down.

OneADayJ is correct teams totals is considered a prop bet at most casinos and they are limited. My guess is these guys posting large bets on team totals is making several wagers to get that amount.

I also understand that the two-leg prop bet parlays are dangerous for casinos. I guess it is what it is; I thought they limited me specifically, but I think it might be a general rule there.
