Wouldn’t the pitching matchup be more influential in the F5 than FG? I like your picks, but I’d love them at F5 (except ATL, I’d rather just go under rather than side with them here)

JA - you're probably right in saying that the F5 is the smarter bet.
I prefer FG bets even early in a season because they force me to pay closer attention to the relievers for both teams, thinking that this info will help as the season goes along. For example, if I had the Angels last night F5, I would have lost the bet and probably flipped to another game. So, a loss and nothing learned from it.
But instead, the FG bet forces me to watch the entire game, the bet wins and I have a better idea of what the pens look like for both the Angels and Cards.
Essentially, my early season FG bets are a (strange) way of paying for information.
