Lee is the 20th ranked prospect. He’s an unknown pitcher the Mets haven’t seen yet. The Mets don’t hit lefties as well as they do righties, albeit yesterday’s outlier. The Mets offense is cream of the crop, but they are heading to LA the next day to play a night game. They have been in cruise control against the Nats, so I believe they put things in auto-pilot and take their foot off the pedal. Scoring and hitting takes a lot of effort. I think they’re focus will be on LAD. 

On the flip side, the Nats just got shut down! Carrasco has a 3.23 ERA at home, and the Mets bullpen has a 3.50 ERA overall, records the 4th most strikeouts, and 1.21 Whip. Citi Field is ranked 27th on hitter friendly ball parks. 

We know there are always outliers in sports, and I can spew this stat and that stat, but there is no measurable for human competitiveness and complacency. 
These are Major League players. The best of the best, so even though he’s a rookie, with the spot he’s in, I believe he limits NYM to 4-6 Runs. 

Washington, I don’t see them getting anything past 2. I believe they might even get blanked again. The only reason I CANNOT play the Mets is because of the situation and spot they are in. They travel to LAD the following night, they have absolutely torched this team, as expected, and they don’t fear this team. Mets could come in and score 2, and win by a score of 1-2. If the Nats want to win they are going to have to try and win a low scorning game. 

Wind blowing out 8.5mph, the scoring in the last few games, Mets offensive numbers, public perception all over the over, and this number is only 9?! Day game on top of that, I would have expected Vegas to have given a number of 10.5 if it was going over. 

I’m only given an opinion though, because there are no facts in sports betting. On any given day your worst pitcher can shut a team down, and on any given day a ?? offense can explode. Sometimes all the numbers can’t factor in the human element of sports. 

Spot, trends, public perception, line movement. I really believe the under is ?? in the rough. I’m usually a Live bettor, but I just don’t believe I will get a better price or number in-game. I think it stays low scoring throughout, so you can expect 5.5-7.5 live numbers and prices of  -125, -140, -150 for an 8.5,9 early in the game. So I would rather grab it now. 

I don’t want to discourage discussion though. If you have other opinions feel free to add to the discussion, because all too many times people just spew ?? and start yelling and screaming. It’s only an opinion, because if it was a fact, we would all be richer than Elon Musk. Haha. Sports gambling is about patience, picking the right spots, money management, and being humbled when your wrong haha.

hindsight’s 20/20, but No Runs 1st inning at +104 is something I should have taken. 

For the over bettors, you can grab a live OV 4 (-124) if you truly believe in the over and to salvage your OV 9 bet. Obviously Live UN is out of the question like I predicted before the game. It has lost so much value and at 4 is pushing your luck.
