Okay, can someone post their picks either as a reply to this post or as a thread that doesn't involve the rockies or the reds? i haven't seen a post that says anyone is picking otherwise.

It's a little early for picks of any value to be posted for games that are 11-14 hours from now. There's a whole day of possible information ahead. I see picks all the time this early and wonder how people do it. How does anyone know who's playing for a particular team?

Well most of the picks of people this morning follow this analysis : Yanks & Cubs went to 18 innings... so bet the other team they play today.
But i'm saying in general, most people are going to post their "picks" and include the same exact thing as the other guy below his thread so i just want to hear some people's input on here throughout the day.

The whole playing extra innings angle might be a little overhyped really. For one thing the starting pitcher is already in the next city before the team travels there. So for instance tanaka was in Cincinnati last night and probably sleeping while the Yankees were playing 18 innings. Also, vegas isn't stupid, they work whatever kind of travel disadvantage there is into the line. You still have to cap the game you can't just slam the Rockies and the reds tonight.

There is some worry Id have about the Cubs health and bullpen. Yankees bullpen too for that matter. So some of the worry is legit. I may make both games no plays personally. I wouldn't say the home teams are gimmes.

funny game this baseball, Washington cost me money yesterday, only team that I lost to on my ticket. It seems that each day there is a team that will out of no where beat the best team. Bullpens are the difference for sure. Tough games today, first you have a Mets team that is in some turmoil with discipline issues with Harvey, and having not played well. Cinci who is over achieving at this point or are they?, Cleveland and Bauer against the hit less Jays or are they? Kansas is another team that kind of boggles the mind, not a bad team on paper but they have not got off the bench to start this year, they could be surprising against Tampa. So many variables that you are best to check the stats and do your own handicapping, I have come on here and looked at some of the picks, in what I see no one on here is able to pick 3 or 4 games a day, so do the work yourself do not rely on this site to do the work for you. On average the success rate of the gambler might be 53%, then go and look at the win % of some of the teams they are about the same. Throw a coin in the air. Have fun, bet peanuts and enjoy. Who knows maybe you will find your own trend.

Yeah, i agree. I make my own bets most of the time but i usually check on here to see some general info of what the guys in here are taking for the day, but it's just mind-boggling that literally EVERYONE are going against these two teams and not taking a back-up just incase the "lock" blows up in their faces.

And for the most part, sanchez and gardy got rest for the yanks also. Ellsbury just came back from injury so he's fresh legs & carter / bird wasn't playing 1st base for the yankees, so i feel like most guys should be fine.

it's interesting for the most part I don't like looking at threads that are picks threads bc I do t want to be influenced or think I may have missed something when capping these games. I think for the most part now I don't read the majority of them bc I don't want to just start fading people. There are people who play 10 or more games a day. It simply not possible to win in MLB that way. My personal favorite are the "new systems". There are some nice people to tail me that I want to see do well or I'm not sure I'd still be here.

It's not blindly betting against them, it's angle, that isn't blind. Agree 100% with the people mentioning bullpens. Playing against teams coming off games like the Yanks and Cubs is largely a fade against their bullpen, so even if the starting pitcher being in the next city were true, that isn't the angle that is being mentioned here. Hope that helps.
