 I think the reality is that the game has changed so much in the past few years its

nearly impossible to gauge the games daily.For example if your lucky ,the listed

starting pitcher will go 6 innings. Complete games are gone. Laying say 200 or more

and then having to rely on bullpens is crazy.There is a emphasis on home runs and

strikeouts.No strategy anymore,ie.bunts,hit and run ,steals.Guys just stand at the plate

no inside pitching just free to swing away no repercussion etc.

 

I still mess around but for for real small units as there is no way Im 

comfortable with the water downed product now a days.

You’re ABSOLUTELY correct. Stumbled upon this while looking for a current post from Weeble. Seems he’s one of many long time MLB bettors who have given up on this sport…..
