Waiting to see the first result before making a bet on the second game (if at all), but the loser of game 1 won't easily win game 2. It's not as simple as people seem to be making it out to be. I'm not saying it won't happen. Heck...the losing team could very well come back and win the second game 10-0. That said, it's silly to think that the winner of the first game will just roll over as if the coaches agreed to this secretly. These teams have been divisional rivals for years. Both of them would LOOOOOVE to be the team to eliminate the other. And a guy like Sale or Severino (or whomever the starters are for game 2) aren't just going to start serving up gopher balls. Nor are the batters just going to swing at every pitch.

That was some exciting baseball, I don't care who you are and/or where you laid your money.
As for game 2...I'm fairly certain that the Braves will win. Not because they lost game 1, but because I have all the confidence in Sale to shut down the Mets. Atlanta will likely pitch him until his arm falls off.
That being said...no chance I'm laying that kind of money. Mets team total under 2.5 looks tempting but even that's at -150 at Pinny. Hmmmm...
