What does first 4.5 innings...total runs 5.5 mean?

I bet 280 to win 200 that it would go under 5.5 and thought I won
But I lost!  In Boston vs Yankee game

Please help maybe the computer is wrong?

You bet that they would score under 5.5 runs for the first half of the game.  They scored over that, so you lost your bet.

Four complete innings, plus a half inning. This bet includes the top of the 5th inning... This bet was mucked in the bottom of the 4th....No the computer isnt wrong.

Daamn, was that line really o/u 5.5  First 4.5 pregame?

I thought that 4.5 innings ended when Boston strike 3out at the 4th inning. It didn't think that Yankee scoring 2pts counted. 

I understand now that 4.5 meant all 4th innings.

dude what the hell?????? there is no such thing as first 4.5 innings.

And even if there was, there was 10 runs scored in the first 4.5 innings. So either you have a peanut for a brain or you are just throwing away money. Stop gambling and paypal me the money you are going to gamble for the rest of your life. You are a moron. oh  i get it,  he thought 4.5 innings meant the middle of the 4th inning. when the score was 4 to 1.  so in some sense, it wasnt that blatant for a newbie to baseball wagering.  

hey weve all done our share of regrettable silly things.

Did someone piss in your milk before you drank it this morning, or did someone replace your toilet paper with sand paper? 

And just so your ignorant a*ss knows for next time, you can make 4.5 inning bets on 365.   I'm going to strongly suggest that you never open your mouth and try to degrade someone for asking a relatively simple question, with you not even coming close to knowing the answer. You added absolutely no value to this thread, you didn't help anything at all, and you pretending to be some tough guy NOT KNOWING WHAT HES SPEAKING ABOUT, makes you look like a massive ignorant shmuck.  Go sit quietly in the corner

4.5 means 4 complete innings, plus half. So till the mid of the 5th.

How funny is it when someone blows up like this claiming some sort of higher intelligence when in actual fact they dont even have a clue what they're talking about. 

I'd wager that this guy is little more than a beginner himself, probably come off the back of an initial losing run and started making some money and now he thinks he's the warren buffet of the betting world haha!
