With about 10-12 games remaining for each team, I don't recall the last time the division races were such a snoozefest.
About 2 weeks left in the season and the only race I see is in the AL Central after some recent Detroit stumbling and Minnesota surging.
The magic number for every other division race is 8 or less:
New York over Boston (8)
Los Angeles over Texas (6)
Philadelphia over Atlanta (5)
Los Angeles over Colorado (8)
St. Louis over Chicago (3)
It is extremely possible that all of these races will be over (or will be VERY close to being over) by Sunday.
