What offshore books allow you bet -1 on Baseball favorites?

I have never seen -1 before.  If I'm not mistaken, the forumla for -1 is;

"x" amount on the ML, combined with "x" amount on the RL.

You don't need a book that offers - 1 on favorites to be able to bet - 1. As long as your book offers - 1.5 you can create your own minus 1.

How would you do that Pinnacle.  I'm confused because you can't buy off -1.5 to 1 ?

it's simple to create your own -1 line.

here's an example:

Boston on the moneyline today is -160
Boston is +125  on the runline (-1.5)

You Bet $160 to win $100 on the moneyline
You then Bet $100 to win $125 on the runline

You now have Boston at -1

If Boston wins by 1, you win $100 and lose $100 = Push

there ya go....

OMG - you're not serious? of course you lose both bets. All 5 dimes is doing is making it easier for their players to do what I just explained. The dollar amount you bet on the two wagers equals the dollar amount on the one bet at 5 dimes

It's not bad advice it is a way to create your own -1 line!

It is the same as betting $260 on Boston -1 when your book offers the line.  If they lose the game you still lose $200.

Same same!

In his calculation the -1 line would be $260 to win $225.  Check what the book would pay for the same wager; it'll be the same!

Well, if you have Bos -1 at 5 dimes, do you actually think the player would win anything/tied if Bos loses?? The key is a single bet was split into two bets.

Not  true. A lot of times there is value in betting a -1 line as opposed to ML and 1 1/2 RL. Sometimes there isn't.

Texas game tonight was example.

5 dimes

Texas ML -164   164 to win 100

-1 1/2 +100          100 to win 100

 

Total 264 to win 200

The -1 RL on 5dimes was -126

252 to win 200

It's not just to make it easier. Alot of the time the -1 line helps.
