I was on a 6-0 run last couple of days in baseball, and I'm up $700 placing $50-$100 bets. No pressure at all. Feeling confident and ready to go.
Today, I start off with a $100 bet, lose, place another $200 bet, lose again, get pissed, and slam $400 second half on Detroit Pistons in an attempt to get all my losses from today back plus some. Now my bankroll is once again depleted, and I haven't slept in two damn days or even gone to work. I'm exasperated and tired as hell, but I all I can do is shake my head cause this shit happens to me all the time.
I've lost at least $50 grand in the past year alone, not just sports betting of course (damned casino really got me, how can a person go from betting $20 dollars a hand in baccarat to betting $2 grand a hand just cause I lost $200)..that is my obsessive chasing personality
Anyway, I know I sound like a madman ranting and raving like this, and maybe it's not appropriate for me to post this, and I will probably go to sleep now, wake up tomorrow, redeposit (funny how I'm always broke but get money to gamble), and wonder why the hell I wrote this crap.
