Cespedes should be in lineup tomorrow. Webster was abysmal last year but had decent out against the Rays. Neither pitcher has seen the other for a full start although Green pitched like half an inning against sox. Webster faced yanks for half an inning last year. Like the Sox bats much better and think they should take first two against the yanks here with Greene not making in through more than 5 innings last two starts against TEX and TOR. Thoughts?

This is all just a quick look and by no means all inclusive: Well my concern with Webster would be the 5 walks in that game against Tampa. Tampa does walk more than the Yankees by about 6/10 of a walk a game or so, but that start also had Carpazza behind the plate, who doesn't average but 4.7 walks a game and this one has Barrett who has been issuing 6.7 in his games this year. I think you are spot on with Greene getting hit by Boston. If that total goes to 8.5 by some chance I may consider the over...or maybe a first five over. For some reason I can see a 6-4 type game here.

the real question is why do you like the sox bats much better? they have been hitting miserably last few weeks. yankees have been putting up decent numbers. not sure adding a .250 hitter will solve all their woes. green has been decent also

Like KC. A's struggle with LHP and if you wait the line will be super juiced with Lester 1rst start following a loss. KC could give them fits the whole series w/ big game James going Sunday

A .250 hitter in one of the biggest ballparks in the league. His presence produces runs and creates rallies by making the lineup more difficult on the oppositng pitcher. Also an elite outfielder compared to most. Don't underestimate him. I know the Yankees have averaged more runs since the break but coming off a sweep by the blue jays they should get this series win at home. I think the Yankees might win game 3 with Phelps but I just feel Webster has best possibility of success here to shut down the Yankees vs Greene trying to shut down the Sox. Hard to explain how I am picturing this spot but feel Sox got the advantage tmrw and am already on them. BOL

Sides to hard to cap in this game. Go over root for both bats. Both pitchers will give up hits and BB. Be base runners on all game. Just a matter if they cash in RISP.
