Why am I taking that astros tonight and for the series??? ....
Dodgers have not seen Keuchel, couple at bats for 3 players. The world series is not a good time to get to know a pitcher. 1st two at bats could be cold. Verlander waiting in the wings, wanting this his whole life, wont fade on this, and if LAD looses 2 in la its all but over. The pressure is already in LAD. Underdogs are loving this. Keuchel has been on fire last few games. He is stoked for this challenge.
Dodgers played a slumping cubs team, bats were cold. Last 3 , kershaw 6 hrs, Keuchel zero, v much diff opponents. Astros know kershaw well.
If lad doesn't hit an hr tonight, astros win. I IMO they will not. going to be 100 degress HOT at game time, slight wind blowing out, in the late afternoon there 8PM EST and 5PM their time, shadows will matter. Keuchel is a master of keeping the ball low and getting grounds outs, kershaw is not. and BTW, kershaws strike out ratio last 3 has been off his game.
Houston Astros 1st 5 Innings +½ -110*vs Los Angeles Dodgers Houston Astros -2½ +485*vs Los Angeles Dodgers Houston Astros -1 +232*vs Los Angeles Dodgers
parlay Houston Astros/Los Angeles Dodgers 1st 5 Innings Under 3½ -120* Houston Astros 1st 5 Innings +152*vs Los Angeles Dodgers
best of fortunes all.

So? Are you trying to take something away from the Dodgers because the Cubs couldn’t hit their pitchers? Yes, the Cubs were cold and the Dodgers crushed them, with their four wins coming by an average of 5 runs per game. The Dodgers took care of business in dominating fashion. What more could anyone expect?

I can’t wait to bet against Verlander tomorrow. How can anyone even entertain the possibility of the Astros winning both games in L.A. after we all watched them crumble three times in a row in Yankee Stadium?
The pressure is not on the Dodgers. It’s on the Astros, who MUST win one of the first two games. If they don’t, they’ll either have to sweep all three games at home (which they won’t) or win both Games 6 & 7 on the road (which they can’t).

The odds are wrong. I played and coached, many years. This match up is far close than the odds are saying. And coaching matters. But so does home field. Nothing is certain, until you play the game. We will see wont we?

What's the confidence level to back Mr. Hill tomorrow off the Dodger win this evening? I like em, not sure how much.
