Yup Ortiz is at it again he reported to Spring training and spoke with a reporter about all his haters who are mad because he wants another year on his contract{Tony Massarotti and Dan Shaugnessy i would suspect} Says players are making 25 million dollars putting up his numbers and basically being Ortiz

I say to quote Artie Lange WAAAAAA! Get over it Ortiz. They gave him a 2 year deal LY so he'd do the Christmas in Fenway commercials on NESN. Ortiz is a talented player but lets be honest he isn't the best DH in the league and if he hits the market no one will give 2 years to a 39 year old DH who's had achillies issues

Hey Ortiz i was without power last week plus water and toilet so if anybody wants to b*Tch its me. The Red Sox should go year to year with him and he knows they will because he has no market. So David Ortiz...Just Shut Up

Tony Massarotti and Dan Shaugnessy know how to push David's buttons and Ortiz falls for it every time. 

Truth is, Ortiz has taken short money and given the Red Sox a home-town deal his entire career.  12 years in Boston and made $107m.

Boston waited 86 years for a World Series title.  86 years!

Ortiz has lead the Red Sox to THREE World Series Championships in his 12 years.

I hear you packers but when you see guys like Ellsbury signing at $155m, Tanaka at $175m, you have to question wtf is really going on with the game of MLB. 

For those of you who are not familiar withTony Massarotti and Dan Shaugnessy. they are Boston sports writers / radio and tv talk hosts.  They make their living as Sports Hacks, stirring up controversy, because let's face it, that's how they get paid.

I can't imagine the Red Sox not extending Ortiz.  He has always done everything the club has asked, including staying in very top physical shape for his age and size.  Now, the Red Sox got screwed by guys like Schilling, who got an extension.  Then sat on his azz and collected $8m.  So you can see why the front office has to proceed with caution.  But expect Ortiz to gets his extension once again when this all blows over.

Mr.goose are you aware Ortiz in 2003 failed a PED test before we had testing in the sportA few years ago when it came out ortiz said his 87 F-Bombs and said i'm going to find out about this and OJ is still looking for the real killerBye Felicia

I have no issue with players on PED's hell we need to get Miggy on the Ortiz diet

Ortiz is a really good player in this era and clearly one of the 200 greatest players in MLB history

Favre is one of the 20 greatest players in NFL history. So no he is not becoming more like Favre.
