Game 1- Detroit can't hit. A's are red hot. Fister got tagged last outing vs A's. Detroit has no heart. Leyland is a bad manager. That all sounds great. Let's all bet on the A's, should be easy money. NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS...
Fister shows up for the playoffs. The guy has a 1.71 era in the playoffs. Balfour really fucked up by screaming like a wild man at the end of last game. I think his fat mouth will really end up hurting Oakland today because Det will be fired up and needs to win this game at home. Cabrera is one of the best pure hitter of our time and today this line up breaks out and rocks Straily.
Game 2- Hellickson is a gas can and will get thrown to the wolves. Hellickson's era is 100.00 in his recent starts. Peavy is a veteran. Rays got lucky last night. Boston ends this series tonight. Once again, NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS....
Yes, the Red Sox are a very good team and on any given night can put up double digit runs. Joe Maddon could easily start Matt Moore today, but he's in my opinion the best manager in baseball and knows what he's doing starting Hellickson. This kid will be anxious to show he belongs there and has good numbers against Boston. That walk off win last night will fuel the fire in this team and not only will they win tonight but they WILL take game 5 in Boston. That's how the Rays work, everyone counts them out and they do one thing, WIN. That horse shit dome gets mighty loud when the Tampa bandwagon is full.
It's plain and simple. Tonight both home teams get the job done.
