Why did the Cubbies make this move? I really wanted to fade the struggling bats of the Braves till the break. Zambo coming off 7IP 110 pitches on 3 days rest, that is not going to end well tonight. Only positive is Chipper is OUT. But I see them moving Prado in the 3 hole or even cleanup. Thoughts?

Well besides the obvious injury to Dempster, someone has to fill in. Hart is going tomorrow, how fast can someone be called up for a game? Maybe insert Marshall into the starting role?

Didnt see the other threads...excuse the repost. But I see Zambo who is a control pitcher and likes to nimble the edges walking a ton and getting rocked tonight. I just wished Chipper was in tonight

he can get through 6 inns. to be honest. Then Marshall. Probally better for the Cubs.

Huh? Chippers's last 7 games he's been batting a respectable .320 walked 6 times, 1 K, and 7 RBI's.........him and Prado have been on a tear. Its McCann's useless ass batting 4th thats killed the Braves. He batting .181 and has 2 damn RBI's in 10 games. Thats why I've wanted to fade these guys until the break.

I dont know...he's going to be missing his spots and his velocity will surely be down some.

Yeah, I was just saying from watching him play last night, I don't really get to see Chipper play. He just looked like an old sluggish man at third.

Expect the Braves to be favored by gametime. Cubs boast the better hitters, but Vazquez far superior to Zambrano (although Z is a much better batter than Vazquez),

ZAMBRANO IS IN BAD FORM, LAST GAME HE WAS THROWING WALKS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND GIVING OUT WALKS ONLY REASON HIS STAT LINE LOOKSED GOOD WAS THE FOR SIMPLE FACT THE BREWERS COULDNT CASH IN ON THE MULTIPLE CHANCES THEY HAD TO BUST THE GAME WIDE OPEN

I will not play the Cubs like I attended to but I cannot back the Braves if McCann is in the lineup...He's in a slump, he's 2-17 on the year against the Cubs and he plain sucks to me. He should be batting at the 6th or 7th spot.
