Is 2012 any good at all?

It sucks and I say that seeing it at a dollar show where I am very lenient with movies.

It is 2 1/2 hours, which for this movie makes it painful.  After the 1000th close call with death they encounter you just want to get the fuck out of the theater.  If they had cut down to 90 minutes, it probably could've been pretty good.  This director is way more about jacking off with effects and bad drama scenes than making a good movie.

Fell asleep 15 minutes into Legion. Both flicks probably deserve a chance not at 2am.........

meant to give it 6/10 with the special effects maybe if Bruce Willis starred in this movie may have been better but it is watchable if your bored.

Misfit, I've only gotten through a half hour of it, maybe 40 mins....Saw the Earth crack a few times and they talked about solar flares like they thought the people watching the movie would all be 3rd graders.

I just woke up and giving it another try.............

I'm a John Cusack fan, and maybe it was ny last two movies that I saw him again were repeat watched a lot liked Cusack films......

Con Air and especially Grosse Pointe Blank.

After those two recently, and now him trying to pull off the hysterical chick like fear throughout the movie, didn't work for me.

That, and the movie, other than being one giant special effect about the world imploding for about the first 90 minutes got old. Good/great special effects , but for the first 90 minutes with Cusack doing his best Adrienne Barbeau imitation for a grade B horror flick. I agree is wasn't a grade B scare movie, but Cusack must have thought it was.

 It seemed like he was drunk or tweaking by the way.

If it's a free download or DVD, watch as much as you can while making certain that there is nothing even halfway decent on TV, throw in a good Bonanza rerun in the decent on TV category.....Anything decent on, skip it. It got old real fast.......

Special effects, they obviously put some cash into.

If you like special effects ONLY than it's for you, if you have half a brain and don't like films that make a farce of actual physics and reality in a calamity such as this film suggest, then you will not like it.

The film is a joke and completely unrealistic. It's only catch is on the survival instinctive nerves which it attacks with unrealistic visual effects.

I'd believe Star Wars before believing this flick.

The Movie is more fantasy than science fiction and more video game than a movie.

Just saw it.....sucked ass!!! Huge let down!  I usually like these kinda flicks but this one blew ass big time.....I do believe some of the premises however...

wouldn't say it "sucked" completely BUT agree it's WAY too long. probably could have shown off the special effects, which are the only really interesting part of the movie, and told the story in less than 2 hours.

thought that Woody Harrelson as Charlie Frost, the off the wall radio talker, was probably the most interesting character in the movie.
