Alien: Covenant

Question

Alien: Covenant (2017) sequel to the 2012 Prometheus although that really does NOT become apparent until half way thru the movie. basic plot is the the colonization ship Covenant is in route to a a remote planet when it receives a radio  transmission that is obviously human from a planet close by that appears to be even more earth like habitable. they send a survey team down to investigate and the fun starts. Michael Fassbender reprises his roll as the android David Eight and also the "new improved" model  Walter One. in addition to the standard Alien "Xenomorph" there is a new smaller but still wicked deadly "Neomorph" introduced in this movie. all in all I thought it was at least as good as Prometheus with plenty of action and "startle scenes". the plot takes some crazy turns the last third of the movie that are scary as hell. could tell more BUT it would be a "spoiler". currently playing on HBO and it is a "must see" for Alien franchise fans. a third Prometheus  sequel to be named Alien: Awakening is scheduled to begin production this year with Ridley Scott again directing. I rate it     of four

have you viewed it yet, doggs ??? Michael Fassbender&#x27;s character David Eight makes the android Ash played by Ian Holm in the original look like a puzzycat

Yep. I saw it once and thought it was ok and then went back and watched it again and liked it.

Ash to me was creepy not really as tough as David Eight.

And that was a wild scene when the woman had the emergency procedure and got stitched back up.
