They're coming to Seattle in a couple weeks & I'm thinking of checking them out. Is it worth buying good seats for? (about $55 for good seats.......$40 for others)

They play around Sydney a lot. Never seen them but some Pink Floyd fans who have really enjoyed it. But USD55 a ticket? May not be worth that, they play for like AUD15 here (which is about USD3.50).

Saw the show last night...................excellent, better than expected. It was at the WaMu Theatre, a smaller venue (seats around 5K) that's connected to the south end of Seahawks Stadium (I refuse to call it Quest Field). They started out by playing DSOTM in its entirety. They had two gals share the singing of "The Great gig in the Sky"............commendable performance by each but not quite in the Carol Kenyon class. It was very well done with some cool vids to accompany the songs, especially on "On the Run". They then took a 20 min. break & came back with "Shine on you crazy diamond (pt. 1)". Again, very well done. They played a good mix off of several albums, highlighted by (for me anyhow) great renditions of "One of these days" & "Pigs"..............they friggen JAMMED on the 2nd hf of Pigs.
I'm not going to hand out any grades, but I think it's a show worth seeing. They have excellent guitarists, great keyboard player, & a fairly good supporting cast. It was about a 3 hour show including the break. If you've never seen Pink Floyd before I highly recommend it. I've seen Roger Waters twice in the last year, & while these guys can't really be put on the same level as those performances (not due to lack of ability......just my own bias), they do produce an excellent show in their own right. Would I see it again? If it was on a Friday or Saturday night & I had time to pre-game w/o worries of getting up @ 5am (like today)..............you bet.
Gunners.............I bought a shirt & it lists all the cities of this tour on the back.................the last stop looks like NY.
