I seen the end on HBO the other day. Looked like it woulda been really wild in the 3-D.  guess its too late for that now

It was a whole lot different watching it in IMAX 3D.&#xD;&#xA;I actually watched it again last week at home and it did not even seem like I was watching the same movie.

I watched it with my gf after hearing all the hype and was disappointed.  I thought it was ok, but not great.  Also, we watched it in 3D and I was disappointed.  Maybe I wasn&#x27;t sure what to look out for at the time, but nothing seemed to come out at me.  I think it was the first 3D movie I&#x27;ve ever watched.  Jackass 3D was much more effective in that regard.  It was entertaining, but not something I would watch again or own.

Watching Avatar in 3D might have been the best movie experience of my life that didn’t involve the girl I was with.

The fact that the movie has made over 2.7 BILLION dollars just goes to show how clueless all the haters are.

I thought it was ok, but not great. &#xD;&#xA;watched it last night in HD and have to agree. GREAT special effects and the colors in the scenes were almost "2001" style psychedelic BUT I thought the plot was kind of a re-hash of "Star Wars - Return of the Jedi" with the low tech in tune with nature Na&#x27;vi ultimately defeating the evil high tech RDA Corporation (every Liberals wet dream).&#xD;&#xA;I will probably watch it a couple more times just for any nuance I may have missed and would recommend it to others who are into SciFi BUT like StraightShooter said, it&#x27;s probably NOT a movie I would keep in a collection to view over and over again.
