Watching a show on PBS honoring her with the Mark Twain Prize............outstanding. I remember watching her show as a kid & my folks would be in tears laughing..........& it's still hilarious today.

I would encourage anyone not familiar with her shows to check them out. She was a pioneer.

yeah- the PBS special was great.  she is so talented.if she were coming up today, the dumb hollywood people would prob tell she needs to be more edgy to make it

The Carol Burnett show still holds up.  Seems like a nice lady who has handled hard personal problems bravely and graciously.Great cast.  Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were fantastic.

My fav skit was when Carol &amp; Harvey played a couple looking to adopt &amp; went to a foster home...........where Tim Conway was one of the kids. Watching them try to keep straight faces during Conways lines was priceless.

The Carol Burnett Show "sketch comedy" is timeless. STILL as funny today as it was back in the late 60's thru the 70's. Carol, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence and Tim Conway ALL outstanding. my personal favorites were Conway as Mr. Tudball and Carol as Mrs. Wiggins

Ouch, Damn you Link Rat, I was going to mention Conway doing that swede guy. Heck, I couldn't remember his name. (Tudball) I think you looked it up!

There was genius on that show and it's neat for another reason if you have children. You can have a good time with kids watching this. The other great skit for me was where the family was together and Grandma would say what was on her mind and the family was stuck on that couch as they ripped into each other.
