probably a little longer than it needs to be but they got a lot of footage for a criminal case like this.  don't read about it in advance.  i'd watch this one and then either skip to part 3 or then read about it. 

Good call Club...The Paradise Lost series is one of the most compelling documentaries you will ever watch IMO.

i watched the first paradise lost and was pretty disturbed by it so i went to the internet and saw the aftermath.  without giving it away, i decided to skip part 2 and have part 3 on my netflix list. 


i did watch season one of rectify.  i haven't gotten around to season 2 yet but i will. 

i skipped part 2 and watched part 3.  really fucked up how all this went down, although i guess i shouldn't be surprised at all.  everyone should watch parts 1 and 2, especially if you are in favor of the death penalty. 

apparently, the main guy is a pretty good writer.  might have to pick this up at some point.

I read the book by Echols.I was just browsing the new release section of the library and picked it up..Those young men got railroaded but it was expected cuze the one kid admitted to the killings but he was a dufus...Anyway Damien spent almost 20 years in solitary reading writing and doing yoga...Now is a  free  man with a hot wife 

I was travelling a while back and saw this in a hotel room somewhere.  It is very compelling.  Spent the flight home next to a guy who spent the better part of three hours explaining why these guys are all, in fact, guilty.  That was pretty compelling too.  Anyway, if you have seen the film, and have never heard the other side, you should check out:

I don't know what did ot didn't happen,  It's one of those instances where two things that both can't be true, are both true.  It all hurts my little brain.
