excellent drama about the Battle of Stalingrad and specifically the "sniper dual" between the Russian Vasily Zaytsev and the German Heinz Thorvald.

would recommend for those into WWII war movies and esp those interested in the history of "The Great Patriotic War" which is underplayed outside of Russia.

spoiler warning about ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enemy_at_the_Gates. the text about the movie goes into great detail about the plot and may ruin the movie for those seeing it for the first time.
