I just realized why I hate Dances With Wolves

Question

I frequently put movies on as background noise, since there are only a few good ones among a zillion others , that I haven't seen...

..Anyway, I'm feeling a little edgy as I've been working on the computer for about 45 minutes with this flick on that I've see a bunch of times like everyone else........

couldn't figure it out until I realized that in my ears as I'm working, that egotistical pompous ass Kevin Costner narrates non stop and never shuts the hell up......

Last time that I ever am in a room with this movie playing..........

its an absolute joke that he won best director for that.  didnt he beat scorsese for goodfellas that year?  i dont mean to hate on coster because i have a soft spot for him cause of field of dreams, but he  must have blown someone to get that oscar.

I&#x27;ll equate it with sitcom comedies.I had absolutely no problem with them until I started to be able to hear prominently the fake canned laughter in the background everytime someone moved......They are still funny shows, but I can&#x27;t get by hearing that shit non stop.Dances With Wolves is like that with Costner never shutting up. I thought that it was decent, until I could no longer get by the canned costner drivel.

Watch it again when you&#x27;re more relaxed and focused...it really is an amazing movie in my opinion.

I work in the industry and believe it is a very, very good film.  Yes, he can&#x27;t act his way out of a paper bag, but he&#x27;s playing a stupid soldier in this one and it actually works.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Cinematography is first - rate.  Beautiful stuff.

I really actually love the flick. Seen it a lot of times. I was making fun of costner's blimp size ego. Just thought it was funny when I had it on, didn't pay too much attention, and coster's voice turned into the teacher from a Peanuts cartoon that never took a breath....

A lot of Movies win Oscars because of the Mood of the Moviegoing public. Dances with Wolves hit a lot of people on the emotional level.

A lot of Oscar Winners turn out after a few years to be average at best. Dances with Wolves was good but Costner ruin his rep with all the really bad movies he's made. Waterworld, the Postman, etc.etc.
