been looking forward to seeing Safe (2012) and am somewhat suprised it's on the new EPIX channels already. sounds from the basic plot like a movie in the style of Jean Reno's "The Professional". for my money, Jason Statham is the current "king of action" in movies. hope it lives up to his reputation.
it's in EPIX1 channel Thursday Jan 3rd @ 5 pm and 8:30 pm pacific time and again Friday Jan 4th @ 12;15 pm
but he plays the same exact role in every movie.
will agree that his "action" roles are usually similar BUT I would say his roll as "Turkish" in Guy Ritchie's Snatch or "Chev Chelios" in the two Crank movies were much different from "Frank Martin" in the The Transporter series of movies or Luke Wright in Safe. both Snatch and Crank were as much comedy as action
