This flick Messier and anyone else looking for ideas..
Bat 21
Gene Hackman, Danny Glover, some other guys you'd recognize....
I think that most folks that have seen this movie enjoyed it....Well worth renting, but being showed on movie channels this month. Hold on...Might be able to find some times for ya....
Well, that kind sucks...imdb.com only has regular basic cable stations for upcoming times........
It's coming on at 9:20am on the "Action-Encore" movive channel. frequently they show the same flick that same day's evening programming.
With Direct TV, they'll give you all the time for the next 30 days for any movie.....Comcast doesn't have that feature..
Well worth your time netflixing/renting it. Won't be disappointed.

Extreme Prejudice was very very underated, so was Salvador (box office, critics loved it)
Air America was pretty darn funny and the chemistry between Mel Gibson and Robt. Downey Jr was apparent, and about 10 yrs down the road, it was pretty public knowledge that Mel was instrumental in getting Downey back on his feet from all his drug problems. Gibson has that way about him that he's just funny in his dialogue.........
Runaway Train I thought was a cool flick and I usually watch it when it obscurely pops on a movie channel just about anytime I see it pop up.
City of Industry was I thought a good story crime-ish flick, and not too many even know about it..... Hard not to like Uncommon Valor is just difficult not to like with that storyline.....
Canada Cup, with a great diverse list like that, I feel darn compelled to download and watch the ones I am not familiar on your list........
I'll give ya a fantastic Robt. Downey flick and Not talked about much, but a Mel Gibson flick I loved.......
Chaplin and Payback

Was D.O.A. the remake of the original in the 80s with Dennis Quaid? (can't name the actor in the orig.)
Yes, D.O.A. is a dynamite thriller from 1988 with Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan. Also check out Bound another good thriller from 1996 with Joe Pantoliano, Jennifer Tilly, and Gina Gershon directed by the Wachowski brothers prior to the Matrix. I've seen Payback great flick but I'll definitely have to check out Robert Downey in Chaplin.
Thanks for the Chaplin recommendation Dennis
