Just picked up the CD/DVD combo at Wal-Mart, and here are a few early impressions:
Audio is outstanding (available in both Dolby 5.1 AND DTS 5.1)
Video quality is somewhat suspect: part the technology available at the time, the fact that it probably wasn't intended for wide release (no audience shots and a 17 year wait), and the fact that it's presented in widescreen (I'm guessing they took the 4:3 and stretched it out to 16:9)
Much like on Unplugged, the banter between the band members makes you sort of wish they'd just keep their mouths shut, but eh... it's a minor complaint.
All in all, a real trip down memory lane for us children of the 90's. Hopefully they get around to releasing Unplugged on Blu-Ray one of these days, and maybe the New Year's Eve performance on MTV as well.
