Premium movie channels I (we) pay for.

Question

I have Starz, Encore, Showtime, Showtime Extreme, Cinemax...bla bla bla.

Not sure if I'm alone here but just about everything they air is a massive load of donkey peanut shit. Find myself watching all of the nat geo channels and AMC/Flix/Hallmark most of the time.

Dump this needless monthly expense and Red Box it?

We&#x27;re getting a free 3 months of Starz, Showtime, Encore, and TMC right now.  Outside of a few movies here and there, I don&#x27;t find myself really loving it.  They show the same shit over and over.  Definitely don&#x27;t plan on paying for it after free preview expires.

I get 5 or 6 Starz and Encore channels for free, never watch them ever.

When I flip thru the channels I've been seeing the movie '13 going on 30 ' on one of the Starz channels sometimes 3 times in the same day for like a month now. wtf?

Spot on! And its a real coincidence that when the new pay per view movies come out the schedule is even weaker. Oh and dont forget the PPV channels are a FULL 1080P!!! Just another scam. I had the full package now just Directv basic + HBO. Watch mostly sports on TV and 80% of new releases are garbage anway.

Yeah I have Comcast basic and internet. I pay $70 a month for cable and internet. I also have Netflix which is great for finding new tv shows, random movies and some interesting docs. I am very happy with my setup

Showtime and TMC suck for movies...some of their series are decent tho. Not worth the money. HBO would be worth the money just for their series alone.

HBO is great.  Them and AMC have the best shows.  HBOGO is a real bonus too.  I wish more stations had an internet site like it.

I love how everyone complains that they show the same movies over and over. Consider if you don't have a DVR and they show the movie once and never again for the rest of the month. If you aren't at home when it comes on then you are shit out of luck. Not everyone has a DVR or even VCR

Deep sixed everything but Showtime (more crap). Even the movies at Red Box are all turd fests.&#xD;&#xA;AMC and National Geographic are all I need.
